Providing further interest to viewers, Mark features the Master's Gallery spotlighting fine work by well known historical artists that have captivated and inspired artists and viewers alike - courtesy of Grand Rapids Museum of Art, Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio, and the Art Institute of Chicago

Using concepts and techniques from the masters, Mark once again teaches kids to draw in 3-D using his "Twelve Renaissance Words". The program reinforces these words and concepts with all new animated segments developed by the students at Ferris State University. While telling imaginative stories that involve space, futuristic cities, deep sea creatures and medieval legends, children's minds are active while inspiring positive self esteem. Mark proudly displays the drawings sent in from kids world-wide such as Guam, Nigeria, and Australia. Mark has received over one million letters, drawings, and emails from student artists around the world.

Greetings from the Sheldon Family of Milwaukee!

Dear Friends,
The Sheldon Family has been a long time supporter of Mark Kistler. Little did we know what we were in for when we signed our son, Matt, up for a drawing class in the summer of 1998. What started out as a fun week-long family activity has turned into a passion that continues to this day. Matt is now seventeen and draws for enjoyment. Our daughter, Katie, has been drawing with Mark since she was one year old. She is now eleven and an aspiring artist. We have also been privileged to introduce Mark and his high-energy school assemblies to Matt and Katie's elementary schools. What a wonderful, inspirational opportunity for the students!

As parents, we were fascinated with Mark's magical talent to teach kids (and their parents!) to draw in 3D. We were blown away by his ability to keep the attention of 300 kids for a full hour by providing an exciting and positive environment where they can discover their untapped potential. Mark has an absolute gift and passion for art and working with children!

Now a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is in front of us that will become a lifetime of great experiences for you: the new "Imagination Station" series. We feel compelled to support Mark in his dream and are certain that your experiences with Mark have been equally rewarding and so are making this challenge to YOU.

OUR challenge to YOU is to make the new "Imagination Station" series a reality. Your support is needed and will go a long way in making beneficial programming available for children and public television. Perhaps you know someone else or a business that could also support Mark's mission?

We will match your personal contribution of $50 to $500. Your $50 becomes $100; your $500 becomes $1,000.

This exciting opportunity is rare and we want you to be involved! Please join our family in helping Mark bring his new episodes of "The Imagination Station" to life for another generation of aspiring artists!

Sincerely
Dan, Michelle, Matt and Katie Sheldon

A Letter From Executive Producer Robert Neustadt

Dear Friends,
After nearly 20 years of producing and directing television and media for Discovery, A&E, NBC, FOX, PBS, Paramount, Intel, McDonald's, Hyatt, Abbott Labs, Cardinal Health, Pfizer and many associations, NOTHING HAS GIVEN ME MORE PRIDE AND SATISFACTION THAN PRODUCING "THE IMAGINATION STATION."

This public television series and webisodes are hosted by the wildly energetic Simon & Schuster author, cartoonist and educator, Mark Kistler. His instruction is truly interactive and not only teaches kids to draw in 3-D, but more importantly builds self-esteem and develops a child's sense of innovation and imagination.

Just ask Miley Cyrus - "Hannah Montana," Rex Grignon - Supervising Animator "Shrek," "Madagascar" and worked on "Toy Story," Ward Makielski - "Leapfrog Toys" and "The Incrediables Interactive," Tim Decker - "The Simpsons" and Disney Interactive, Dan Fraga - Marvel Comics and Ray Bradbury - Author.

AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS LANDED ON THE DECK OF "THE IMAGINATION STATION." Ferris State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan has offered to host the "Imagination Station" for the production of 26 new half-hours. They have donated HD cameras, a studio, crew, lighting, and hundreds of hours of graphics and editing. In the real world this could easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. To make this vision a reality, we need to match their generosity with our own funding...and quickly. We will be editing the 26 episodes over the next few weeks!

We are hoping you can underwrite some of the following costs:
  • Art Supplies & Set Materials
  • Music
  • Tape stock
  • Additional Sound Mixing & Writing
  • Travel Costs
  • Crew Meals
  • Closed Captioning
  • Satellite Feed

A donation of $5,000 or more will receive a full screen credit with your personalized 8 second voiceover message.

$1000 receives an on-screen credit, on-line drawing membership and autographed book and DVD series.

$50 - $450 WE HAVE A MATCHING GIFT DONOR! Your contribution of $50 - $450 will be DOUBLED! If you pledge $200, it will become a $400 donation to the production!

All donations will receive a traditional on screen credit and 1-year membership to the Mark's on-line Art Academy.

This can be donated to a special non-profit funding agent which will provide you with a tax deduction.

As former Disney animator (and Dad), Tim Decker, once said, "kids will watch TV no matter what, so let's make it beneficial, interactive and FUN."

Please do not hesitate to request additional details.

Sincerely,
Robert Neustadt
